I saw Number The Stars for .50 cents and couldn't help myself. I loved that book as a kid. Also, I have been wanting Fahrenheit 451 for awhile, because I LOVE it. Excited I found it really cheap.
You guys know I am in love with this series (Uglies). I couldn't pass up a hardback of Specials for 2 dollars, I mean come on. I have all three of the trilogy on my nook, but I want to eventually own them all in hard cover. I still need to purchase Extras as well. When I read it, I had borrowed it from the library.
I was able to get all the Chronicles of Narnia, except the Magician's Nephew for .50 cents a piece. I'm sure finding the Magician's Nephew for cheap won't be hard.
I got these from Dollar Tree for well a dollar a piece. I haven't heard of Dark Slayer but for a dollar I can give it a try. The other two are part of the Anita Blake series, which I have heard mixed reviews on. I bought them in case I decide to read the series.
Love Dare is a book from one of my favorite movies, Fireproof. It is a Christian based movie. I have been wanting to read Water for Elephants, which I have been hearing mixed reviews from as well. I have read the entire Sookie Stackhouse series, but I borrowed most of them from the library. So when I see them cheap I usually get them just to have them, in case I decide to read them again.
The Girl Who Played With Fire is the book after The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo. I haven't read the first book yet. I got this one in case I decide to buy the first one. I'm worried the themes are going to be too dark for my liking. I also bought the Last Olympian, well because I haven't read it yet.
I saw Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil for 99 cents, and had to have it. I have heard really good things about it. I got the Kite Runner as well, because of the good things I have heard about it.
The Time Traveler's wife, I have heard very mixed reviews of, but because it is so popular I do want to read it. I really liked A Quick Bite by Lynsay Sands (did a review of it on here), So I decided to give this one a try.
I have heard Janet Evanovich is a very good writer, and they had these at Dollar Tree, bet you can guess the price, so I picked them up.
I have heard good things about this book. I'm just hoping this book doesn't make me too mad. I think the mom is going to end up annoying me.
I bought Lord of the Flies just to have it. Who doesn't like Lord of the Flies? Me and Mr. Darcy was just a whim buy, it sounded cute.
Books I got on my Kindle (Smart Phone App, One day I will own a Kindle...one day..) this week:
They were all free, except for The Ascent of the Undeparted which was 1.99.
Books I got on my Nook (I actually have a Nook, unlike my non-existent Kindle) this week:
All were free except for the HP Mallory book set which was 2.99. The A Texan's Promise was part of BnN Friday freebie deal, so it was only free on well Friday, not sure what it's normal price is.
If you have any opinions or comments on the books above please let me know. I always welcome comments! <3 :)
