Her trust is put to the test when hidden dangers unfold before her, revealing secrets that have been buried for years. Secrets that were meant to stay hidden. Murder, lies, and betrayal … will Marissa figure it all out in time and escape with her life intact, or will she be too late and fall into the trap of deception?

Review:
This book was pretty awesome. It's so hard to write this review because I don't want to give away too much.

Marissa Chase is the average college student. She attends school and hangs out with friends. She has a boyfriend who lives out of state. Her best guy friend, Kristian, has a girlfriend out of state too. So neither rocked the boat of their friendship with trying to get together. Things are about to change soon. Marissa and her bf break up and she crosses paths with Alec Holden. He is a mystery to her. She's always watched him through windows, and from afar. She's not quite sure how he fits into the picture, she's pretty sure that he's not a college student. They catch each others attention one day, and there are definite sparks that fly. Kristian is not too happy about it.

Even through all this jealousy and rivalry, someone has their eyes set on ending Marissa's life. They have to find out before it becomes too late.

This book was so full of suspense, it had my mind reeling. I was guessing the whole time trying to figure out who it was. When I found it out, it blew my mind. I half guessed it though. This book is definitely for mature audiences, as there are some sexual scenes in it. I loved Alec, he was such a good guy. I felt sorry for Marissa because she didn't deserve what was happening to her. They made such an amazing couple.

I could not put this book down, and I enjoyed every minute of it!!! Her books definitely never disappoint. If you love romance/suspense books, definitely check this one out.

Rating: 4 out 5
