Print Copy Giveaway/Review: Hyacinth by Abigail Owen

Summary:
Selene sacrificed everything when she took her brother’s place as ruler of the Vyusher, including her secret love for her one-time adversary Griffin Aubrey. When nightmares that are just a little too real start, Selene fears she’s turned into a cold-blooded killer…the monster that Griffin thinks she is.

Griffin and Ellie Aubrey are finally safe for the first time in over a hundred years. But when an unknown menace drives Selene to leave her family and ask for help, Griffin must decide. Can he move past his hatred of everything she is? Or will the bond that could bring them both the greatest joy now be the source of their deepest despair?

The threat of the danger stalking Selene in her dreams might be too much even for this powerful group. And Griffin doesn’t want to easily forgive the woman he blames for killing his family…

Review:
I was wondering when this book was coming out, and I was more than thrilled when the author contacted me wanting me to review it! Let me start from the beginning Svatura are people who are immortal and have semi-unique special powers. The Vyusher are people that have powers and can change into wolves. There is a problem in the Vyusher world, people are trying to take down the new regime. This book starts not too long from where the last one left off. I was so excited to learn more about Selene. She decides that she wants to go back to college, not too far from where Griffin lives. She really intrigued me at the end of Blue Violet. This book was mostly from her point of view. I was super excited to have so much of Ellie in the book. Well really the whole family was in it quite a lot. It was a really fast paced book, and a fast read. I didn't want to put it down because I had to know what happened next. I loved learning more about the Vyusher. I wanted to punch one of the council members in the face, he was so irritating lol. Trust me you will feel the same way. Griffon, oh Griffon, he is so stubborn, but so freaking cute. I'm not gonna lie there were times I wanted to smack him upside the head for being so mean to Selene, but I forgive him. This book does soul mates right, not everything is perfect for them. They aren't perfect people, and they have to work through their issues like everyone else. I love how close the family is, I wish I was in it and had a special power. Why not me.....If you haven't read it, definitely check it out. The first book is free for the next forseeable future (links below), but who knows how long that will last. BTW I love her covers, they are always very simplistic but very pretty!

FTC: I received this from the author for an honest review.
